Overview

neurosurf provides tools for working with cortical surface meshes in R, supporting the reading, manipulation, and visualization of brain surface data. It handles common surface formats from FreeSurfer and GIFTI, and supports mapping volumetric or vertex-wise data onto surface representations. The package also implements geodesic distance computations and surface-based searchlight methods for cortical analyses.
